Dear Fellow Broncos,
On behalf of President Maynard Smith and the Fayetteville State University DC Metro Alumni Chapter, I am delighted to invite you to join us for our Annual Scholarship Fundraising Event, reimagined this year as a high-energy Day Party, affectionately coined the Day-La.
On Saturday, April 18, 2026, we will gather in true Bronco fashion for “Bold Blue & White: Where Our Bronco Pride Comes Alive.” This is more than a party—it is our collective opportunity to celebrate Fayetteville State University, invest in student success, and show up proudly for the institution that helped shape who we are today.
What is the Day-La?
The Day-La is a daytime fundraising experience that blends the elegance of a gala with the energy of a celebration. Expect great music, fellowship, elevated vibes, and a room full of alumni who believe deeply in the power and promise of FSU. It is designed to be joyful, accessible, and unapologetically Bronco.
How You Can Support
There are multiple ways to participate and make an impact:
- Purchase an individual ticket and join us for the celebration
- Buy a table and bring your line sisters, line brothers, classmates, or friends
- Make a direct donation if you are unable to attend
- Show up ready to represent your Greek fraternity or sorority and help raise funds collectively
- Rally your class year, raise the roof together, and leave with bragging rights for raising the most money for Fayetteville State University
Whether you come solo or roll in deep, your participation matters—and every dollar raised supports scholarships and student success.
Dress the Part
This is a Blue and White Affair—cocktail attire encouraged. Bring your style, your pride, and your best Bronco energy.
