Scholarship Package

To qualify, the applicant must:

Have a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale.
Attend Fayetteville State University upon immediate completion of high school, if not currently enrolled.
Attend Fayetteville State University on a full time basis.

All completed applications must include:

An official, sealed, high school transcript or an official college transcript of the student.
New incoming freshmen applicant must have two (2) character references from any combination of school, community, civic and/or religious leaders.
A 250–500 word essay on the topic “Why I am Attending Fayetteville State University and My Career Goals and Aspirations”.
Failure to provide the above requirements may eliminate further consideration. The FSU DC Alumni Chapter will host a scholarship event to be announced. Recipients are strongly encouraged to attend. Each recipient will be allowed to invite up to 4 guests. Pictures will be taken at the event for exclusive use by the Chapter.
If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be required to provide a headshot before the scholarship is awarded. Your headshot will be maintained and used as part of scholarship history and archives.
